LIFE IS LIFE... enjoy the way it is!

Have all our desires been fulfilled?

Do we always get what we want in life?

Have our lives been always the way we wanted it to be?

Was it ever PERFECT?  ...

Such questions can make one sit back and ponder. Make them rethink and rethink before all of them come to a conclusion. When such questions crossed my mind, I was dazzled by my own answers.

Coming back to my questions, have we got everything that we wished for? We do crave for so many things. A beggar would wish for all the luxuries that a middle-class person possesses. A middle-class person would look up to the comforts of the rich people and the rich people… well let’s just not talk about them. Same way, a hungry man would wish for food. A ragged beggar would desire for appropriate clothing. A homeless person would want a shelter. All of them don’t have a possibility of being satisfied. So, have all our needs and wants been fulfilled? The simplest answer to this question is “DUH!! Obviously not!” As a matter of fact, our needs and wants can never be satisfied. They are never-ending. (Class XII economics). It’s the human nature. Suppose I badly want a DELL laptop and I get one. Now, the next time I will yearn for a MACBOOK. So, this way my wants are taken to a whole new level. Let’s consider the other point of view which I think is highly impossible. Few people say that there all desires are fulfilled. But let me ask them a question, “ARE U HAPPY AND CONTENT WITH WHAT YOU HAVE GOT? DON’T YOU WANT MORE? WILL YOU FLAUNT ABOUT THOSE THINGS AGAIN AND AGAIN?”  Just Think!

Moving on, many of us have some or the other time has wished for someone else’s destiny. At one point of time, I was so fed up with my old boring life that I thought what if I run away with every resource I have and then live a perfect life of my own. (That time I was inspired by the movie “THE RUNAWAYS”)  But I realized my life wouldn’t be perfect even then. There will be so many obstacles that I will have to face all by myself. So it best to live our own destiny imperfectly than to
live an imitation of someone else’s life with perfection.

Albert Einstein once said, “Life is like a riding a bicycle. To keep it balanced we must keep on moving.” Life has never been the way we plan to be. The only thing predictable about it that it is very unpredictable. We have held on to so many grudges that the hatred for so many people have made us forgotten the path that leads to happiness. So never plan your life beforehand. Whatever we have planned we should be willing to let it go, so as to have the life that is waiting for us.

So guyzz, to cut long story short life has many unpredictable moments, many paths and memorable times. So enjoy the surprises, explore new paths and cherish the memories.

"LAZY LOAFERS" - DO U FALL IN THIS CATEGORY?

When we decide to do a particular thing/task, how many of us "actually" do it? how many of us take the pains, make the efforts to complete the task? well there are always exceptional cases but I am dead sure that most of us don't. we do press pause sometimes or some or the other thing strikes us immediately and we keep on delaying our work. Subsequently the work keeps on piling on and on. then there comes a certain point when we have to do it by hook or by crook. but still there are some people who will give excuses and will not do the work at all! let us name them "the LAZY LOAFERS".

the point behind this is do we belong to this category? sadly, many of us do. a student who doesn't do the homework at all will give all kind of reasons. BUT THESE REASONS AREN'T REASONS, THE ARE SIMPLY EXCUSES! (courtesy: the vampire diaries). this lot is never to succeed in life. NEVER! they will always be lagging behind and dependent on others.
But this lot can also improve itself. let me tell u a fact, my friends, once upon a time I too belonged to this category. but the constant hammering, a reminder everyday has transferred me to a higher category. I too was very , very lazy! would delay my assignments, projects, homework... everything! but then slowly I started realizing it myself that just sitting back every time and thinking that "ye sab chalta hain" won't do me any good. (I would also give credit to my mother for her constant reminder of me being a lazy bone) from that very moment I decided that if I have to excel I need to give up this attitude and look at me now, excelling in everything (not showing-off , just stating a fact.) it just takes a moment of self-realization to transform a person.
if u are lazybones , then this should be an inspiration to u! so what u might be thinking "what next?" I advise you to get up from your couch and get started from now itself because it is rightly said that "a second lost is as good as a dead man." I know time is precious so rather then wasting it "wisely" lets use it judiciously! TOODLES.. :)

a CHANGE is as good as a rest!!

Today, my mother forcefully took me to her kitty party to be her helping hand... let me tell u my friends, I actually had a good time. I mean seriously! it all started when my mother sweet-talked me into going along. I was continuously avoiding her.. denying her. it wasn't like that I am not a party-freak and all but enjoying with oldies is a bit.. u know what I mean right! But after all she is my mother, she gets what she wants. so with a heavy heart I started to dress up.
when we reached the venue, I started setting up as we were the hosts. when the ladies came in, they were so delighted to see me. even though we haven't met in person but it fell that they knew me since I was a child. it was awkwardly very sweet. as the time past, I saw myself laughing and giggling with the ladies. it was like a breath of fresh air. the ladies were so happy to see me! I really cant put their feelings into words.

What can I say now. after all this affection, love and care that I received this afternoon is simply beyond words. I really did enjoy with them. every single moment. it was not like that I kept glancing at my watch and saw it after every 5 mins and I prayed to god that please just transport me to home. it was totally the opposite. time just flew by. I really did enjoy with them. they kept on chit-chatting, gossiping (typical ladies, I must say) and I just kept on giggling on their every comment (no doubt, they are hilarious). they did include me in their talks , asked me my opinion and did listen to my every remark! I really had a good time. (thnk my mother)

its really amusing to see when something, something very different, out of the blue can my one's day. this was it. its just about how we see things. just jumping to a conclusion doesn't make sense. seeing the situation from all points of view and then forming an opinion makes sense. like I really thought that this whole idea of assisting my mother in her kitty party would be crap but I did have fun! if I would have just said NO and watched TV... I would have missed out on all the fun. we just cant make judgments until we have heard and learnt all the facts.

sometimes, life calls us in different ways. its up to us to pick up or to reject the call. if U have missed the call, then your bad. u wnt get to enjoy.
TAKE CHANCES, AFTER ALL LIFE IS ALL ADVENTOUROUS STUFF... toddles!! ;)

THINKING THE UNTHINKABLE.. DOING THE IMPOSSIBLE!

A few weeks back I came across an article in BUSINESS STANDARD. It talked about a very young CEO nirav tolia and his new idea.

It is quite thinkable that we have a social networking site for news that is twitter, for managing professional identities that is LinkedIn and for friends and interests that is Facebook. But it is amusing to hear about a social networking site to know your “NEIGHBOURHOOD” better. The news has wowed me. The techie-world is advancing at a gratifying speed.

Previously, the other sites were like spellbinders. They had become the part and parcel of our life. Many people started spending hours and hours online and thus becoming asocial. They were certainly aware about the happenings of the world but were clueless about what took place in the little world outside their home.

As there is a key to every lock, every problem also has a solution.

A San-Francisco based start-up led by Nirav Tolia and 6 other founders seek to give the term “social media” real meaning. The company NEXTDOOR wants its user to get to know their neighbors by.... spending time online!

Nextdoor is offered as a platform for neighbors to communicate with each other about everything. The neighbors can exchange referrals on local business, buy and sell items or even alert each other about illness or crime in the area.

It has not only proven beneficial for America but has expanded its horizons in numerous countries all over the world. But its magic hasn’t reached India yet.

This company has touched the lives of million people and has given a platform for the US local social networking to come up.  I guess we have transformed to a new era where neighborhood has gone virtual.

LOOK THROUGH, AND U ARE SURELY GONNA FIND A WAY!

Today in the class, we played a game whose name is still not known to me. So, the rules were that u have a sheet on which your name is written and that paper is circulated all over the class. the students had to write a POSITIVE quality about you. we all thought that it was gonna be easy. someone even said," Positive quality toh likhna hain..." but the trouble began when we all actually started writing down on the sheets.

the first sheet in which I wrote was my best friend SAUMYA'S. I really got tensed. my mind was like what to write, do I write smething big and poetry or something sweet and short and blah blah... I thought for a while and then I just wrote a line. "BEING YOUR BEST-FRIEND, IS THE BEST THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO ME EVER!" after reading this, she was so delighted... :D

well, I was really perplexed about my other class mates esp. those who are my haters. no matter what I have to be sweet and friendly with them. so very calmly and patiently, kept all my grudges aside and thought deeply. what I actually discovered that they aren't bad at all. the circumstances make their actions bad. that moment was an eye-opener for me. its like I have literally found a new me, a totally new person! a person who can ignore the faults and just look at the good side of others, a person who can forgive and forget and I AM LIKING THAT NEW ME! ;)

when I finally received my sheet back. I read all the comments and trust me , it made my day! I was so happy and cheerful after reading my positive qualities and what people think about me. I feel that I have true friends in my life who will always be there for me.
U GUYZ ALSO SHOULD TRY THIS ONCE... WHO KNOWS U MIGHT ALSO FIND A "NEW ME!" .... Toddles!! :)

CHEERS!!

Well its been a hectic month... xamz , sports , extra- carricular activities and so much more... well the tension is ain't over.. i hav a debate competition coming up... m lukin frward to it!! its gonna b heck of a competition... all d houses hav put their best people frward.. i am glad to knw that my teachers think that i m capable enuf to represent my house in such a competition.. the topic is
"GLOBAL - WARMING IS A MYTH!" i culdnt had evr imagine such a topic cumin my way.. but its interesting as well as challenging... *FINGERS CROSSED*

.. cumin bk to my previous point.. 11th xamination is finally ovr!! WAT A RELIEF!! but the question arises here is dat "WAT HAV I REALLY LEARNT FRM DIS EXAMINATION?" Were the prep for the xamz was only limited to the xamz or for our further competative life? the things wich v learn shuld b used in our practical life as well... only mugging up like a parrot won't help us..it wuld only benefit us in the short run but in the long run it won't be of any use.

Being pragmatic and understanding is the need of the hour. 21st century requires people who can handle situations on their own, think on their feet and come up with extraordinary ideas. There is no place for slackers or rote-learners. for instance, xams are round the corner.. v must start preparing for it atleast 2 weeks ago.. last minute studing won't be fruitful and esp. last minute learning every word won't at all be productive!! So, it is advisable to hit the books much before time rather than sitting up the whole night and memorizing every single word!!

Utilise every second of life cause this time wll never cum bk and later u wnt hav nething to regret!! :)
LIVE WHILE YOU ARE YOUNG!! ^_^
